Crossing Borders: " America, Canada"., 2016

On the way to our holiday destination we were flying over the impressiveness Rocky Mountains. The colours of that landscape and the erratic patterns of snow that find their way over the mountains are the source of inspiration for this three dimensional work.

handmade, cord wrapped with narrow strips of fabric, the snow patterns are made with textile dye. Cotton, hand-dyed cotton, silk, cord, textile dye, wood insulating pipes. Paterno plate, Perspex plate, nylon thread.
